HandymanCalc ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at handymancalc.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We are committed to collecting as little data as possible while keeping the site running well.

Information We Collect

Analytics data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This service is cookie-free and does not track you across websites. It collects aggregate data such as page views, referring URLs, browser type, and country — none of which is personally identifiable. No IP addresses are stored.

Calculator inputs. All calculations run entirely in your browser. We do not transmit, store, or log any values you enter into the calculators.

No accounts or forms. HandymanCalc does not require registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information through the site unless you contact us directly by email.

Advertising

HandymanCalc may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. When advertising is active, Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show relevant ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's advertising policy.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's content delivery network. Cloudflare may process connection metadata (IP address, request headers) as part of delivering the site and protecting against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

HandymanCalc does not set cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free. If Google AdSense advertising is active, Google may set advertising cookies on your device as described in the Advertising section above.

Data Retention

We do not store personal data. Aggregate analytics data is retained by Cloudflare per their data retention policies. If you contact us by email, we retain your message only as long as necessary to respond.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the site changes (for example, when advertising is enabled). The "Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
